From b4c4fb75c08f3e60ae49333d6ac792170345c7b5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: trilader Date: Thu, 26 Nov 2020 19:30:26 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] Add watchCommand config option watchCommand is specified as a list of strings. The first entry is the application to run. The rest are arguments. Arguments don't need to be quoted as the shell is not involved in running the command. "{{vid}}" will be replaced with the Id of the video to watch. The default command is still to call xdg-open with the YT URL --- main.cpp | 43 ++- subprocess.h | 858 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ yttui.conf.example | 3 +- 3 files changed, 898 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) create mode 100644 subprocess.h diff --git a/main.cpp b/main.cpp index 13e95f5..cfdf475 100644 --- a/main.cpp +++ b/main.cpp @@ -3,6 +3,7 @@ #include "tui.h" #include "yt.h" #include "db.h" +#include "subprocess.h" #include #include @@ -169,6 +170,17 @@ bool startswith(const std::string &what, const std::string &with) return what.substr(0, len) == with; } +std::string replace(const std::string &str, const std::string &what, const std::string &with) +{ + const size_t replace_length = what.size(); + std::string out = str; + size_t pos = 0; + while((pos = out.find(what, pos)) != std::string::npos) { + out.replace(pos, replace_length, with); + } + return out; +} + void select_channel_by_index(const int index) { if(clear_channels_on_change) { for(auto &[k, v]: videos) { @@ -303,18 +315,30 @@ void action_mark_video_watched() { ch.load_info(db); } +std::vector watch_command = {"xdg-open", "https://youtube.com/watch?v={{vid}}"}; + void action_watch_video() { Channel &ch = channels.at(selected_channel); Video &video = videos[ch.id][selected_video]; - const std::string url = "https://youtube.com/watch?v="; - const std::string cmd = "xdg-open \"" + url + video.id + "\" > /dev/null"; - int rc = system(cmd.c_str()); - if(rc) { - message_box("Failed to open browser", ("xdg-open failed with error " + std::to_string(rc)).c_str()); + const char *cmdline[watch_command.size() + 1]; + for(size_t i=0; i +*/ + +#ifndef SHEREDOM_SUBPROCESS_H_INCLUDED +#define SHEREDOM_SUBPROCESS_H_INCLUDED + +#if defined(_MSC_VER) +#pragma warning(push, 1) +#endif + +#include + +#if defined(_MSC_VER) +#pragma warning(pop) +#endif + +#if defined(__clang__) || defined(__GNUC__) +#define subprocess_pure __attribute__((pure)) +#define subprocess_weak __attribute__((weak)) +#elif defined(_MSC_VER) +#define subprocess_pure +#define subprocess_weak __inline +#else +#error Non clang, non gcc, non MSVC compiler found! +#endif + +struct subprocess_s; + +enum subprocess_option_e { + // stdout and stderr are the same FILE. + subprocess_option_combined_stdout_stderr = 0x1, + + // The child process should inherit the environment variables of the parent. + subprocess_option_inherit_environment = 0x2, + + // Enable asynchronous reading of stdout/stderr before it has completed. + subprocess_option_enable_async = 0x4 +}; + +#if defined(__cplusplus) +extern "C" { +#endif + +/// @brief Create a process. +/// @param command_line An array of strings for the command line to execute for +/// this process.
